A heartfelt thank-you to all of you who helped make our centennial celebration a banner year for the Ten Mile Road Race. It was truly a community effort with over a thousand runners, hundreds of volunteers, dozens of local businesses and individuals who stepped up as sponsors and suppliers, wonderful coverage by the media, and crowds of spirited spectators who lined the course to cheer till the last runner crossed the line. A special thank-you to our out-of town guests who elevate the competition and spice up the social flavour of festivities, and, to the property owners along the route for whom normal access was suspended to provide the stage for this community event. Thanks for the memories. It’s was a great century…and the tradition continues into the next century!
