Training for the Fire Fighters Ten Mile Road Race is available locally, in Thunder Bay, with the
Fresh Air Ten Mile Training Group
Getting you ready for the race since 2005.
This Ten Mile Training is an 18-week program that takes you from running 3 miles to 10 miles, increasing the distance gradually. Knowledgeable training leaders volunteer and help pace runners. There are runners of all abilities including novice, intermediate, and advanced levels. The training starts in January.
